About

The story of Your Brain on Tech goes back to when producer’s Brian Gotts, Eric Hurst, and Brad Osantoski were college seniors at Central Michigan University. They decided to create a 30 minute tech show for their college cable station. With the help of about a dozen college students they were able to launch their pilot episode. Unfortunately, due to a copyright concern with airing YouTube videos, the show was cancelled by the station and never aired.

However, that didn’t stop the Your Brain on Tech crew as they took matters into their own hands. With the help of about a dozen students they we’re able to shoot, edit, and release episodes online. After a few of those episodes the show got picked up for a few more on a small broadcast station in Las Vegas.

Eventually much of the crew graduated or moved on to other projects. However, Eric, Brian, and David Addison decided to re-invent the show into a new 5 minute tech news format. It has turned out to be a great move and has allowed Your Brain on Tech to partner with Koldcast.tv and continue producing the web show we love.

Your Brain on Tech is your source for everything you love from technology to gadgets, the world of gaming and the Internet. We release weekly episodes recapping the previous week’s news, sharing our opinion, and hopefully make you laugh a little in the process. We cover some of the biggest and most exciting stories around and package it together in a digestible 5 minute (give or take a minute) package.
