My career in the NHL

Hamilton Bulldog's Logo
I was drafted by Montreal at the 8th overall pick in this year’s draft. I am not currently on the team, instead I am playing for their AHL affiliate, the Hamilton Bulldogs. Oh, and I mentioned this was all in EA Sports NHL 10, didn’t I?

I don’t think I am the first person to notice this, but I feel like the first to come out in anger against the new direction video game companies are taking “multiplayer” video games these days — if you can even still call them multiplayer.

The first offense I noticed was last year’s Left 4 Dead. My roommates and I rented a copy and were ready for some four-player, zombie, split-screen action on my 52-inch TV. Thanks, and look out for Episode 3 in early November.

Facebook Lite worth the switch

Posted on 19. Oct, 2009 by Eric Hurst in Other

I have to say, I was a bit of a hypocrite after Episode 1.We talked about Facebook Lite and yet I refused to use it (mainly because its not on my top sites in Google Chrome).

Well the past couple days, Facebook has been acting up on me in Chrome. Strangely, whenever I had a notification it would try to download something. It was weird.

So I made the switch to Facebook Lite today.

It’s much more streamlined, it looks much nicer and is a breeze to use. The only important thing I lost in the transition was Facebook Chat — but lets be honest — that program is trash.
